Begin Garden study.
This is a TWO YEAR project  which will need to be visited Autumn / Spring / Summer each year. The results of the first year will need to be compiled into either  a) project booklets, b) power point presentations
c) spreadsheets/graphs etc N.B. To be decided upon at first transnational meeting.
1. Garden study, - pupils to look at germination seeds/bulbs.
The garden in Autumn as a season. Planning  what and when to plant in the organic garden.
2. Start wildlife trails

1.All classes to set up a Comenius corner in each classroom..(on-going for the TWO years
2.Displays around school to include evidence of work produced during the Autumn term by themselves and their partners.
3. Continue the organic garden study focusing on Spring, and the wildlife trail
4. Send information for the common website on work produced so far.
5. Video conferencing with partners. Share national songs and dances - video
6. Songs/dances featured in video conferencing taken to 2nd transnational meeting
7. Send national recipes together with appropriate language
8. Each class to produce 4  A4 pages of work per booklet on recycling activities
   a) in the school garden
   b) at home
   c) at school
   d) saving energy

Celebrate European Day.(May 9th)

  1. assembly fronted by pupils who have been involved with Comenius partners. To give presentations of knowledge gained for peers, parents and governors
  2. All pupils involved to receive a participation certificate
  3. Guest speaker involved with European activities (MEP?)
  4. European lunch
  5. European activities for day – Stories/music from Europe
  6. Pupils to wear European costumes
  7. Pupils to produce European flags for display
  8. Video conferencing with partners showing activities being held in school

  1. Video conferencing with partners sharing information relating to their gardens and nature trails.
  2. Photos/information to be sent for inclusion on the website
  3. Complete garden booklet focus on Summer  – development of plants
  4. Complete wildlife trails –compile data and produce power point presentations
  5. Evaluation questionnaires to be given to pupils and staff who have participated in the project during the year.
